Base-image choice : guacgui vs rdesktop-web

Hello,

I’m wondering what is the right choice between guacgui and rdesktop-web to create a image for a graphical application.

I was looking to create a digikam image, I have started to create an image derived from calibre (based on guacgui) and I have seen that an official image has been released (based on rdesktop-web). What are the pro and cons for each choice ?

They both use guacamole server, but the rdesktop one uses a lightweight js client for it.

The rdesktop implementation is newer, simpler and more lightweight.

Going forward, we’ll be using the rdesktop one

Is it possible with rdesktop to start an application in full screen mode without windows decoration (like it’s done for calibre with guacgui) ?
