Requesting Support

This forum is dedicated to getting you the help you need, when you need it. LSIO staff as well as the community at large are here to help, and will do their best to do so providing you follow some basic guidelines.

  • Make sure your subject is simple, but informative - e.g. “Plex won’t start on Qnap NAS”. Just putting “Plex brokenen” won’t curry much favour
  • Tag your topic. It helps us keep track of what issues relate to what
  • Be informative! What was your run or docker-compose command? What are you using to run docker on? How is your storage configured? All of this information is key to solving the puzzle
  • Make sure your system is up to date before you post
  • Provide as much log output (with sensitive information redacted) as you can

If these simple guidelines are followed, the right support should be served up in no time!
