Hello there,
I would know how the cron jobs works on your nextcloud image ?
I have this message in my nextcloud’s settings : “Some jobs have not been executed since il y a un mois. Please consider increasing the execution frequency.” Should I be worried?
Thank’s
Nobody knows ?
did you check the nextcloud documentation? cron is cron, it doesnt work in a special way in our container. nextcloud controls the frequency. the information you put is not detailed enough for anyone to chime in.
I know that for the official nextcloud image, you have to use a specific container for cron tasks. My question is: is this already implemented in the linuxserver image? Or do I have to configure something specific?
For my configuration, I just installed your nextcloud image with a mariadb database and onlyoffice. I didn’t touch the cron job settings, leaving them as they are by default.
That’s why I’m asking if it’s normal or if there’s something I can do? configure? for the warning message I’m getting.
Do you need any further information?
Ok, thanks
As I searched, I understood my warning.
In my config file, I had the key: maintenance_window_start => 1 except that I had configured my server to go into standby mode between 1am and 8am (to save money). So the tasks were no longer running.
I’ve changed the value and I’ll post here again to confirm that everything’s working again.
