How can I change the scaling of libreoffice and/or wps-office (docker versions)

When I run libreoffice and wps-office in my browser, the scaling is tiny. I know I can zoom the, well I don’t really know the term for it, workspace? The part under the menu rows, but the menus remain tiny.

It doesn’t seem to be related to the browser/workstation as it happens on both laptop, pc and phone.

Is there some way to scale up the app, for example with an environment variable?

I obviously searched both here, the documentation and the internet in general, but maybe my Google-Fu is not up to scratch?

Screen settings in the sidebar

Thanks for the hint, but I don’t see anything about screen settings in the sidebar. There are: Properties, Styles, Gallery, Navigator and Function. No screen settings to be seen anywhere under that? Can you be a bit more specific please?

Are you messing with me or are you serious, you have never accessed the settings for the remote desktop session ?
There is a blue pill floating in the middle of the screen I am not talking about libreoffice here.

just flagging off hidpi is easy mode, but to scale it up change the ui scaling and close/reopen the app in openbox, this will be pixel perfect instead of a pix-elated mess.

Not messing with you, dead serious. Never accessed settings for a remote desktop session. When I do anything remote it is usually by ssh. I didn’t notice the blue pill on the left sidebar as I have a dual screen setup so the left sidebar of the right screen is not a place I automatically stop at. Office solutions I’ve tried before have always been web apps, like Office 365 or Google Apps. This seems like it’s a desktop app with remote desktop through a website. That seems to be a very data heavy implementation?

Well it kinda works now. It seems to me I got the best result by hitting “reset to local screen”, at least for the actual desktop app, but the menu bar with the little colored squares are still tiny tiny on top.

Yeah linux scaling is not amazing, as I say hidpi off is easy mode that is how most remote stuff deals with it and calls it a day. If you restart the container the title bars for openbox will scale as well but for stuff like tint2 (which is the custom bar at the top) you would need to open a terminal and run tint2conf to customize aspects of it.

Also we have an emergency bug for commas not working, that will be fixed in a bit here. You are bound to notice that in a spreadsheet.
