Mailing list mode enabled today?

Starting today, I began getting email notifications for each comment made on every post on the site.

I went to preferences, Email to see what this was and I saw a red banner saying

Mailing list mode enabled. Email notification settings are overridden.

This mode causes an email to be sent on every topic when it’s updated.

I noticed another person noticed the same thing and reported it here : Include sliding-sync-proxy with synpase/matrix container - #3 by shunkica

Apologies to all that got this. We migrated the forum to a new host and during the backup/restore process it seems that the mailing list option got enabled. We have now disabled this so you should no longer get unwanted emails.
