Nextcloud Web GUI not available Composer autoloader not found

Hello,

I installed nextcloud on my unraid server.
Unfortunately whenn I try to access the web gui of nextcloud I get this error:
Composer autoloader not found, unable to continue. Check the folder “3rdparty”. Running “git submodule update --init” will initialize the git submodule that handles the subfolder “3rdparty”.

Has anyone ever seen that before and can tell me whats wrong.

Thank you

We’ll need to see your docker run command and full logs

and the docker run command or compose?

Sorry I’m fairly unexperienced with Docker container.
I just installed the nextcloud docker from the Community Apps Tab and run it from the Unraid Web GUI

I’m seeing the same issue. However, my issue occurs when trying to update nextcloud within the app.

Current version is 24.0.4.
Update to Nextcloud 24.0.5 available. (channel: “stable”)

The web updater tends to timeout on creating backup… then eventually (several hours later) resuming the updater allows it to continue… the step “deleting files” will fail and browsing to the nextcloud domain shows the error “Composer autoloader not found, unable to continue. Check the folder “3rdparty”. Running “git submodule update --init” will initialize the git submodule that handles the subfolder “3rdparty”.” The update will not resume. this has happened on the last two updates. It happened updating to 24.0.4. I resolved it by renaming the nextcloud config directory, deleting the container and reinstalling fresh and restoring the config.php as my database is in another container. There is definitely a reoccuring issue. What that is specifically is, I do not know … yet.
