Beeper cloud is a way of hosting a matrix server and bridges for various other networks (e.g. telegram, signal, facebook, iMessage, etc.).
The setup instructions in GitHub - beeper/self-host: Learn how to self-host Beeper are fairly lengthy compared to my usual paste a linuxserver.io compose file into my NAS, setup a user and tweak the traefik config as needed.
The benefit I’d specifically get from this is running fewer apps on my laptop and instead running just the beeper client for all my comms needs.
