This would be super useful to have in an easy to use (and easy to integrate into an already running reverse proxy setup) The developer does have a path to containers and self hosting but it’s a pretty big disaster in its current state with config and setup all over the place in and out of the containers
I recently wanted to get back into RSS and pondered if there was a nice self-hostable RSS aggregator that I can use to centrally subscribe to feeds whereas clients or a web UI simply source from it ideally with synced read status and such.
From everything I compared that still has active development Newsblur seems like a marvel of UI and versatility. It’s definitely not for those who look for the tiny reader or the minimalist ycombinator-like experience in terms of simplicity and lack of anything that exceeds the utmost necessary. But to those who crave a seemingly worry free experience of having whatever feature it should be the primary consideration.
So far for I have yet to try it myself, but only because I don’t want to give up hope I can get this in a nice LS.io docker environment so the underlying virtualized OS gets regular security patches (that many of my other dockers already pull from anyhow).
