The original paperless-ng has been forked into a community project: https://github.com/paperless-ngx/paperless-ngx
This project is currently mostly working on transitioning and updating dependencies, but it would be great to get it packaged up once they make a new release.
The community project is tracking this here: https://github.com/paperless-ngx/paperless-ngx/issues/98

WIll keep an eye on it. Has development stopped on paperless-ng?
Yes, it looks like the original is mostly no longer maintained.
There was discussion of it here: https://github.com/jonaswinkler/paperless-ng/issues/1599
Ah yes, I’ve seen the issues now.
Ok well, once there is a released done for ngx, we can look at getting a new container out for it.
1.6.0 has been released. Changelog
I too would like to see a paperless-ngx container. The community focus on the new fork seems very promising.
Would love to see this since there is a release now also considering the sooner can convert to the new release/image, the less headache it will cause.
Ditto. It should be an easy changeover - I just changed the Docker hub URL in my config and pulled down NGX 1.6.0 straight over the top of my existing NG 1.5 configuration, with no problems.
But of course I took backups first!
Yes, please update paperless-ng to -ngx! Would love to see it!

Hello
I’see this image is now deprecated.
I know there is an image maintained by the paperless-ngx community as well as a migration guide from linuxserver.
What I would like to understand is why the decision was made to no longer support it?
