Ubooquity - can't scan books folder

I installed ubooquity through portainer with no issues

I did a bind for /books (the container folder) to /volume1/Books (where all my books are shared on the host).

when i access the ubooquity webui my books are empty and a scan doesnt find anything. How do i point ubooquity to look in my books shared folder?
