Update version of mediainfo to one with json output

Is there any chance of updating the included version of mediainfo? I would like to script the conversion of ASS subtitles to SRT and while the docker images include jq they do not have a version of mediainfo that has json output

The general answer here is, not really, it’s often the latest version available for the os.

You get the general answer because there was no image mention.

Can you clarify what version you’d like to see?

I dont see a newer version and mediainfo has long supported json as an output
