Domoticz container installs but it's not accessible

Hello,

I’ve been trying to install Domoticz through linuxserver/domoticz image on OMV running on a RockPro64 board.

Although I’m using the suggested usage configuration (only altering the UI port from 8080 to 8085) the container won’t run no matter what. It gives out a ‘‘400 bad request’’ error when I’m trying to reach it on http://ipaddress:8085

Any sugestions would be thoroughly appreciated.

You can start by supplying the docker run command/compose file.
And also supply the container log.

I posted my problem over at the OMV forum where a moderator tried to replicate it and fell on the exact same problems.

He was the one who suggested to post my issue here as well

Still need the container log. And would be nice if you posted the docker setup here also, so we don’t have to go treasure hunting.

Which arm version is that board?

It’s a rockpro64 so I suppose it’s arm64?
Give me a few minutes to re-install and come back with the logs

That is not the container log. You can get that with docker logs domoticz.

It looks like you are stopping the container before it finish the generation of the certificate. Have you tried waiting until the container log says it finished the startup?
It should look like the below.

The truth is that when the image is installed I don’t check anything but start the container. How long should I wait for it to generate the certificate?

Where do I go from here now? Should I delete the container, rerun the image and watch the logs for completion?

Start from scratch and then wait until the logs says done, like the one I posted.

You gotta keep waiting. It does say it’s going to take a long time. And you’re on an arm device so yeah it will take a long time

Alright. I see.

Since there is no actual feedback of what’s being done in the background, I assumed that the process had finished as I got ‘’ root@rockpro64:/#’’ ib the terminal.

Can you try to add the variable WEBROOT and set the value to domoticz?
You then need to access domoticz through http://IP:PORT/domoticz

I had the webroot option set in the environmental parameters.
I’m trying to reach the UI via http://ipaddress:8090/domoticz but still nothing…

Remove the #optional you have after the WEBROOT variable.
docker doesn’t support remarks and reads it.
In fact, remove the WEBROOT variable completely during setup/troubleshooting and only add it later if needed.
